	Upcoming Events Ward 3 The DC Republican Party and DC Young Republicans are teaming up to volunteer Saturday, June 13th in Ward 3. This opportunity is called the "Pretty n' Polished Event" in which volunteers visit a retirement community and offer friendship and manicure services to the residents. The event will be Saturday, June 13th, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the Sunrise on Connecticut (5111 Connecticut Ave, NW). From 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm, the ladies at the Sunrise will show us how to play Bridge. Ward 6 The DC Republican Committee will hold a meeting in Ward 6 at Capitol Hill on Tuesday, June 16th at the Old Navy Hospital located at 921 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. The special guest speaker will be Virginia Walden Ford, the Executive Director for DC Parents for School Choice. Virginia will talk about the importance of the DC School Voucher program. This event is free and open to the public. Light food and refreshments will be served.
